Can you tell your battery chargers from your battery drainers?

ignite you Nov 12, 2020

Do you feel like you're running on empty?

Are you constantly attending to other peoples' agendas and not doing the stuff that really matters to you?

Then IGNITE YOU is the place to be next Friday @12pm. Click HERE to join. During this masterclass I will share my blueprint containing everything I've learned about creating a deeply balanced life that is also highly successful. We all deserve to be successful in our careers, without sacrificing our health, relationships and happiness.

It starts with YOU prioritising YOU on your list of priorities. I learned this the hard way.

"Just when I thought I had it all figured out, with things finally falling into place – family, work and relationships – I crossed paths with a workplace bully who brought me to my knees. My nightmare went on for almost four years as I dealt with a boss who bullied me and everyone else. At his mercy and fearing for our jobs, day in and day out we desperately tried to justify his mood swings, his rage, his ‘my way or the highway’ dictatorship. Those who left did so in silence, too scared to risk ruining their reputations by speaking up and too exhausted to fight any more.

It was this experience that inspired my book; in many ways it was the worst and best thing that could have happened to me. The biggest truth I had to face was my own role in all of this; the knowledge that I was partly to blame. I allowed my bully to become an energy vampire, sucking the lifeblood out of me, and in my attempt to please him and prove my worth – trying to fix problems that weren’t fixable – I started bullying myself."

My challenge to you this week: Look at the people around you and identify them as a battery drainer or battery charger. And then, actively look to spend more time with battery chargers.
